In May and June 2012, EHRI was presented on various occasions by Veerle Vanden Daelen, who is leader of the EHRI team for Identification and Investigation. On 22 May, the 5th Contact Day Jewish Studies on the Low Countries took place, organized by the Institute of Jewish Studies at the University of Antwerp.

The Wiener Library in London was delighted to host the latest international workshop of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure. The workshop, held from 30 April to 2 May 2012, focused on five topics: audio-visual testimony; the timing of testimony; testimony as evidence, evidence as testimony; translation of Holocaust testimonies and false testimony.

In the second half of 2012 there will be a call for applications to take part in one of two EHRI summer schools on Holocaust studies in 2013. The first EHRI summer school will be organized by the Institute of Contemporary History Munich - Berlin, Germany in July/ August 2013. The second EHRI summer school will be organized by the Shoah Memorial – Museum, Center for Contemporary Jewish Documentation, Paris, France in September 2013.
